Thermal spraying enables components made from the widest variety of materials to be coated so that the surface is prepared for the specific requirements of the customer such as guarding against wear, fretting corrosion, erosion, cavitation, and corrosion, or scaling and thermal shock to improve gliding performance, surface hardening/ductility, wettability, or reflection/absorption.
