Our extensively equipped metallography facility, with ultramodern reflected light microscopes including image processing and archiving software, permits efficient microstructural examination of our coating systems. Surface hardness measurements in accordance with Vickers (HV) and hardness variation measurements can also be made. Through carefully selected preparation techniques, the widest variety of material combinations such as metal/ceramic, metal/plastic or combinations with CFRP or GFRP can be evaluated.

In addition to quality assurance as such, examination of representative samples using reflected light microscopy provides essential input for optimizing coating systems, process parameters, etc.

With our equipment and our experience, we are able to examine damage macroscopically and microscopically. From this we can derive recommendations for suitable coating systems.

Retaining samples and reports for at least 10 years ensures that documentation of customer orders is traceable for a long period.
