COATEC is a high-tech company with international orientation and belongs to Praxair Surface Technologies (PST) since early 1997.

PST - a pioneer in high-tech coatings since 1946 - evolved as an independent company from the well known Union Carbide Coatings Service and produces premium surface coatings that prove their quality every day all over the world. Besides the (contract) coating service per se, PST also offers consumable materials and equipment for a wide variety of surface coatings.

As far as coating service is concerned, COATEC is the largest coating location within PST and is one of the world’s biggest contract coating operations for thermally sprayed coatings.
