Because COATEC increasingly focused on coating tasks in the aviation industry, COATEC is currently expanding its quality certification with the aim of obtaining the Nadcap certification by 2018. As part of this decision COATEC therefore implemented a combined certification procedure for EN 9100: 2016 and ISO 9001: 2015 as a first step.

The certification was carried out by the DEKRA Certification GmbH and demands from the companies in particular an above-average quality management. With the current EN 9100 certification, COATEC proves its suitability as a supplier especially for customers of the aerospace industry.

For COATEC, the EN 9100 certification is a logical step in consistently advancing the strategic development of the company and so setting it up for the future and following the highest standards.
