The decrease of visitors came as no surprise to Coatec and the entire industry, therefore Coatec’s expectations for the drupa 2012 were not exceptionally high.

However, drupa 2012 has turned into more of a fair for decision makers, which resulted in interesting conversations between Coatec and its key customers. Thus, we were able to convince of the representatives of machinery manufacturers of the benefits of various coating solutions of COATEC, which are already known and recognized in the field. Furthermore, new application areas for development projects have been opend where coatings for prototypes are performed at the moment.

Following the extremely positive feedback from press manufacturers and printers regarding our Hydrocer™ - and Tribocer™ - Coating solutions for printing machine components and the potential in new application areas, Coatec’s expectations of business are very high. First good deals have already been achieved.
